As the Stock Controller your duties will include…
• Working with the production and sales teams to meet agreed production and delivery schedules
• Managing stock levels, incoming/outgoing goods and conducting inventory checks
• Building relationships with suppliers to ensure that products are available to meet customer demands
• Inputting stock data from goods received

Liaising with suppliers / internal staff regarding discrepancies
• Processing purchase orders and sales orders

Due to the nature of the company, those with a background in Horticulture may find this position to be of particular interest although plant knowledge is not essential.

The successful applicant will have an excellent work ethic, be able to work independently and be experienced in a similar stock control position.

The successful applicant must be IT literate, and able to work confidently with Microsoft office products (including but not limited to Excel, Word and Outlook).

The ideal candidates will be seeking full time employment, ideally be flexible regarding hours and importantly be able and willing to provide additional cover (if required) throughout our busy times.

An experienced Gardener/General Assistant is required to help manage a 12 acre country garden and private estate near Colchester, Essex.
