Careful time management and planning will be critical in order to organise your day around the hours available whilst maintaining extremely high maintenance standards across all sites.

Main Duties
  • Tidying and removing dead or dying plant material from the area or unit.
  • Maintaining plants by feeding, watering and dusting
  • Changing plants where necessary and re-planting using the correct plant for the environment.
  • Pruning when necessary to retain shape and/or promote growth.
  • Checking for pests, weeds etc and treating where necessary within set guidelines.
  • Applying fertilisers in the recommended frequency and quantity as required.
  • Tidying the area to remove litter/debris etc.
  • Completing Maintenance Report sheets and where applicable and forwarding to the office in a timely manner
  • Competent installation on wall hanging foliage displays.
  • Additional duties as required.

Heading up by way of leading deliveries, installations and collections. Leeds - London and beyond.

Completing Pre-Delivery Inspection Reports

Building and preparing displays on and off site

Pre – Production and Assembly of Displays

Installing wall mounted panels, art and foliage pieces.

Assisting in event hire, exhibition build, delivery, installation and collections.

Responsibilities

Job Brief

The main responsibilities of the Site Supervisor will be to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day management of the project together with the Site Manager, in order to do this the successful candidate will be an organised and efficient team member being able to manage a team effectively, including direct employees, sub-contract labour, agency workers, specialist sub-contractors in relation to steelworks, lighting, water-features and many more as well as other trades as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience working with a variety of office software, for example, mail tools and Excel spreadsheets.
  • To be an enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn new skills in a creative working environment.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in landscaping, specifically within the luxury market
  • CSCS card.
  • SSSTS would be advantageous however training can be provided.

Sales:

  • Manage and optimize the Shopify and iZettle systems, including product listings, pricing, and payment processing.
  • Ensure that all plants are healthy and properly cared for, including watering, pruning, and pest management.
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on plant care and maintenance, including recommendations for appropriate soil, lighting, and watering.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order new products as needed, ensuring that the garden centre always has a variety of healthy and attractive plants and supplies.
  • Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery schedules and ensure that products are high-quality and delivered on time.
  • Maintain a clean and attractive store environment, ensuring that displays are attractive and products are properly labelled and priced.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including answering customer questions and addressing any concerns about plant care and maintenance.
  • Assist with plant displays and merchandising, ensuring that plants are properly labelled and priced.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience supervising staff and overseeing daily operations.

  • Knowledge of plant care and maintenance, with experience caring for a variety of indoor and outdoor plants.
