Our client is an established company based in West London but operating all over the city specialising in the design, construction and maintenance of bespoke residential gardens. They currently have a vacancy for a Junior Horticulturalist to join their successful and progressive team.
Key points
Candidates must have excellent practical skills in all areas of garden maintenance and horticulture, with a good eye for detail. They will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering high quality workmanship which is completed on time and within agreed budgets.
The person appointed will be working within a small team of 2-3 working on individual projects reporting to the maintenance manager. The successful candidate will be assisting in high end domestic garden maintenance.
Must haves
It is important that you have good communication skills, combined with a pro-active and flexible approach to your duties.
Candidates will be required to hold a formal horticultural qualification.
There are excellent opportunities for further training along with the prospect of career progression.
A full clean UK driving licence is required.
Working hours 7am/ 8am – 4.30pm/5.30pm Monday to Friday and be happy to work in and around London.

This is an exciting hands on role, where you will work closely with your GM Head Gardener within a team of 8, offering the opportunity to work on some top end gardens. You will need a love of and enthusiasm for plants and gardens. A good basic knowledge of horticulture and experience within the industry is required; a desire to learn and develop is vital. You will need to be good at communicating and enjoy being part of a close-knit team, whilst being able to show initiative.
