The Role
- Support Team Leader on projects by ensuring all tasks are carried out professionally and to the highest of quality
- Assisting in the planting of Trees, Shrubs and Hedges
- Ensuring the site is kept tidy at all times
- Driving vehicles to and from site when required
- To represent Tree Research in a professional manner at all times
- Set up and install irrigation when required
- Tidy up and prune Trees, Shrubs and Hedges when required
- Any Ad Hoc duties that are required from Directors, General Manager or Team Leader
Essential
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Horticultural experience
- Familiarity with hand tools
- Good communication skills with clients and staff
- Level 2 RHS Horticultural/ Arboricultural qualifications or similar

Maintenance Gardener - A668
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Gardener to work for an established and well respected company near Burwash, Kent. The company provides high quality garden maintenance and horticultural services to a range of loyal clients in the area. Experienced and newly-qualified gardeners are encouraged to apply.
Due to continued success, the company now requires an additional Maintenance Gardener to join the existing team. You will ideally hold a recognised horticultural qualification and a good level of gardening experience, good horticultural knowledge, experience with a range of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment, and will be used to working within a team and on you own initiative. The role will involve maintenance gardening on a full-time basis, primarily on domestic properties.
You will be expected to undertake physical gardening duties such as hedge cutting and lawn maintenance as well as pruning, planting, bed/border maintenance. You should be willing to carry out a range of other gardening tasks as they arise. A spray ticket (PA1/PA6) is desired, though training can be offered if necessary.
This is a full-time permanent position, and to ensure your job security you should be willing to assist with various one-off garden projects during the winter months.
The successful applicant will be conscientious and well presented, flexible in your approach to work, be physically fit and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. A full UK driving licence is essential, as is your own car for travel to and from the rural yard.
