Skilled Gardener - Live In - EC4787 - This position has been filled
An exciting position has arisen for a full time live in gardener at a newly acquired property sited at a rural location in West Dorset.
Situated in 2 acres of grounds this is a formal but neglected garden within a large working farm. This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled gardener with a proven track record in garden restoration and demonstrable horticultural skills to use their vision and communication skills by working closely with our client in returning the garden to its former glory.
Candidates should have a good level of maintenance and machinery experience. The role will involve the management of beds, borders and flowers, and associated weeding/mulching as necessary.
Applicants must be experienced and qualified horticulturists with very good plant identification skills and seasonal garden management knowledge. Successful applicants will have chainsaw and relevant spray certificates along with a good level of maintenance and machinery experience
The position comes with a two-bedroom high spec two-bedroom cottage based on the estate and our client is willing to accept children and/or pets. Candidates must be dog friendly.
Working hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday which may be subject to reasonable change with seasonal adjustments. Candidates should also be flexible about carrying out alternative tasks in adverse weather conditions.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence due to rural location.
