The owner is particularly keen to employ a passionate plants person to take full responsibility for managing the plant collection, as the majority of the maintenance (mowing and hedge cutting) is undertaken by a part-time gardener.  Applicants must have an open and positive attitude, such that they are willing to undertake other duties when the owner is away, i.e. basic maintenance of the swimming pool, looking after the domestic animals (dog, chickens), general security of the house, and occasional airport runs.   For the latter of course, it is essential that applicants hold a full UK driving licence.

This position is offered with a two-bedroom cottage on site, with all bills paid aside from Council tax.  The accommodation is ideally suited to a single person or couple, though is not considered to be large enough for a family.
