Job Brief

The successful candidate should have at least 10 years’ experience in landscaping in a luxury market, and 5 years in a similar role.  Existing skills should include a CSCS card.  SSSTS or SMSTS would be preferable, but training can be provided.

Ultimately the Site Supervisor should be able to ensure the smooth running of the construction site and contribute to the timely completion of the project to the required standard while managing between 5 and 15 people. A complete understanding of horticulture along with appropriate qualifications is essential. A good working knowledge of pests and diseases is essential in being able to apply this knowledge in real life applications.

Candidate Skills

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
  • A strong knowledge of landscape construction projects.
  • A high level of IT proficiency, particularly with Word and Outlook. Experience of Sketchup will be hugely beneficial although not essential.  You will also be required to use SAGE for generating quotes, training will be provided if necessary.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Communicate professionally at all times.
  • A clean, full, driving licence.
Desirable Skills
  • Garden Design experience.
  • A horticultural qualification.
