Living Wall Maintenance Technician

Our client specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of green roofs, living walls, blue roofs, and roof top garden landscaping for both domestic and public settings. The client is now seeking an experienced Living Wall Maintenance Technician to ensuring all gardens remain healthy and kept to a high standard.
Job Description:
Candidates will work with a supervisor across various London sites, with the occasional travel required outside of the city. They will be assisting with living wall maintenance and ensuring correct planting schemes are implemented. They will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance, including pruning, feeding, and replacing plants as needed. A key part of the role involves monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems, checking for faults, and ensuring efficient operation. Previous knowledge of irrigation systems is highly desirable. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for horticulture and green infrastructure.
Key Skills:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with living walls or a strong horticultural background with 2–3 years of relevant experience. This role offers clear progression opportunities, with the potential to advance into a Living Wall Supervisor position for those who demonstrate success and hold a valid UK driver’s licence. Previous experience with living walls is highly beneficial, and horticultural qualifications are desirable. Additionally, familiarity with irrigation systems would be a strong advantage.
