Known for their high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction they are now looking for an Aftercare Contracts Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and care of completed landscaping projects.

The Role:

Reporting to the Aftercare Director, as the new Aftercare Contracts Manager, you will be overseeing and managing the maintenance and aftercare services for completed high-end landscaping projects. This position ensures that the landscapes remain in optimal condition post-installation, thereby maintaining client satisfaction and upholding the company’s reputation for high-quality service.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding aftercare services.
  • Address client enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular site visits to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Project Management:

  • Develop and implement aftercare plans tailored to each project’s specific needs.
  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance activities such as mowing, pruning, fertilisation, and pest control.
  • Co-ordinate with the landscaping team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor the condition of landscapes and identify any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities meet the company’s quality standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Team Supervision:

  • Lead and manage a team of aftercare specialists and technicians.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure team members are knowledgeable and skilled in a wide range of aftercare practices.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets for aftercare projects.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure cost-efficient operations.
  • Keep track of expenses and ensure projects are completed within budget.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, client interactions, and project progress.
  • Prepare reports for internal and client review, highlighting key activities and outcomes.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for future reference.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for additional services and upsell to existing clients.
  • Assist in developing proposals and contracts for aftercare services.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the aftercare division through strategic planning and client acquisition.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

The Aftercare Contracts Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the long-term success of the clients’ projects by maintaining the health and aesthetics of landscaped areas. This position not only helps in retaining existing clients through excellent service but also aids in attracting new clients by demonstrating the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field, with a focus on aftercare and maintenance.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of plant care, horticultural practices, and landscape maintenance techniques.

Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring client satisfaction.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality maintenance and care of landscapes.

Finances: Basic understanding of budgeting and financial management related to project maintenance.

SALARY:            £50,000 DOE + Company Vehicle
