The company is currently looking to recruit someone looking to step up into an Assistant Manager role, to work closely with the General Manager.
Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities would include the following:
- Maximise the Garden Centre performance by supporting the General Manager
- Actively contribute to the achievement of budgeted sales and margins
- Ensuring adherence to procedures for stock ordering and the overall control of stock levels
- Support in the delivery of personal training and development plans
- Ensure high standards of delivery in Visual Merchandising in-line with company guide lines
- Operate clear lines of communication on company strategy and best working practice
- To lead and drive high levels of customer service across all areas of the business
- Deputise in the absence of the General Manager
Key Skills:
The appointed person will possess excellent communication and networking skills at all levels, with good working knowledge of financially based data and the ability to plan, prioritise and lead from the front, ensuring high standards of customer sales & service delivered from a highly motivated team of staff.
