Our client is a well-established irrigation specialist with over 16 years of industry experience, delivering high-quality irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance services. Working across prestigious residential estates and large-scale commercial developments, they have built a strong reputation for technical expertise and reliability.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Irrigation Engineer to join their long-standing and knowledgeable team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in irrigation systems, with hands-on industry experience and a good understanding of installation, fault-finding, and maintenance.

Role Overview
The Irrigation Engineer will be accustomed to working to high standards, taking pride in delivering quality workmanship across prestigious estates and developments. The role will be to take full responsibility for project delivery, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to an exceptional standard.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, fault-find, and repair irrigation systems
- Diagnose electrical and control faults efficiently
- Work on pump stations, tanks, and control systems
- Commission and optimise irrigation systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and emergency call-outs
- Work with advanced control systems and variable speed drives
- Complete digital reports and job sheets via tablet
- Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard
Skills & Attributes
- Qualified Electrician ( Preferred)
- Proven experience in irrigation servicing and maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Trained on Grundfos and Lowara variable speed drives
- Experienced with Hunter and Rain Bird controllers
- CSCS card
- Comfortable using tablets and digital systems
- Professional, reliable, and well organised
- Full UK driving licence
Location:
Based in Surrey, London & Home Counties.

Working Hours:
- 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 7:30am – 16:30 with one weekend in four as required. The occasional overnight stay (hotel and subsistence fully provided)
