About the Role:

A well-established provider of play, fitness, and landscaping solutions is seeking a proactive and hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to support ongoing growth. This role is critical in ensuring construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Assistant Operations Manager will be the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing projects from pre-start meetings through to completion. Responsibilities include managing installation teams, conducting quality checks, coordinating materials and resources, and ensuring smooth communication to resolve any on-site challenges. 

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Can-do attitude – proactive and solutions-focused;
✔ Physically fit – comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions;
✔ Construction or Landscaping Experience – soft/hard landscaping knowledge required; experience with playgrounds, MUGAs, or surfacing is a bonus;
✔ Strong Leadership & Communication Skills – ability to manage teams, liaise with clients, and problem-solve effectively;
✔ Health & Safety Awareness – CSCS card and SSSTS certification required, along with a safety conscious mindset;
✔ Full UK Driving Licence – a valid and clean licence is essential for site visits;
✔ PA1 and PA6 licenses – desirable but not essential.

This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role.

SALARY:        circa £40,000 DOE + Company Vehicle Provided
