The Job:

Duties will include:

•Plan and prioritise personal sales activities towards increasing sales and achieving agreed targets
•Maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships through high quality of service
•Facilitate meetings and conference calls with key distributors, specifiers and customers.
•Produce accurate and timely customer quotations, sales forecasts and management reports.
•Collaborate with the Marketing Department to ensure all marketing objectives are achieved

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be proactive in their approach and able to demonstrate experience and a proven track record in a Sales/Sales Support role. You will be enthusiastic and focussed, possess high levels of drive and commitment. You will have excellent communication skills, willing to travel, flexible in your approach and can adapt to different cultures and clients. You must be extremely organised with the ability to work independently under pressure and also collaborate with others to meet deadlines and agreed business objectives. Excellent IT skills will be a must particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Do you want to work as a Production Manager within a family owned farm and become a key member of the team?
Are you pro-active and flexible in your approach to work?
Are you experienced with field grown trees and take pride in producing top quality plants?

Key Points:

• Daily management of the Christmas tree plantations
• Working independently as well as able to manage a small team
• Crop maintenance, weed control, planting and harvesting
• Able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

Must Haves:

• Proven knowledge of field production with 2 years previous experience
• Experience with leading a team
• Background in either Forestry or Horticulture
• Flexible approach to work and happy to take on other duties in the wider estate

Knowledge of growing Christmas trees will be a distinct advantage but training can be given. Ability to drive a tractor as well as holding a spraying licence will be an advantage. Chainsaw certificate will be essential for this position.
