Maintenance Gardener - Live Out - EC2780
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Gardener to join the friendly team with a well-respected company, located approximately 10 miles west of Aylesford and 10 miles north of Tonbridge, Kent.
The company offers a full garden maintenance service for private and commercial clients in the wider area. The majority of business continues to be generated via positive word-of-mouth; a testament to the high level of service provided by the team.
Due to a continued increase in business, an additional Maintenance Gardener is required to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. Applicants should have a good level of maintenance gardening experience, good physical fitness, proficiency with a range of grounds maintenance machinery, and a positive friendly attitude. A recognised horticultural qualification and spray certificates (PA1/PA6) would be beneficial, though candidates with a good level of experience will of course be considered.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in a range of gardening duties such as hedge cutting, lawn maintenance, pruning, planting, bed/border maintenance, and be willing to carry out a range of associated gardening tasks as they arise. Applicants must be conscientious and well presented with a positive attitude, as some interaction with property owners should be expected. You should be willing to work in all weather conditions and be physically able to undertake typical garden maintenance tasks with good attention to detail.
The standard working week is 42.5hrs though applicants should expect seasonal variation, which will ensure considerable additional earning potential via overtime opportunities. A full UK driving licence and your own transport to and from work are essential.
