Our client is a leading landscape design and build company, established in 2000, with a strong reputation for delivering bespoke, high-quality residential gardens – and are now seeking a Junior Horticulturist in West London.

Role Overview:
We are recruiting for a Junior Horticulturist role in West London, working with an award-winning garden design, build, and maintenance company specialising in high-end residential landscapes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their horticultural career to gain hands-on experience working on prestigious private gardens, while developing their skills within a supportive and experienced team.
The successful candidate will work within a small, skilled team, typically 2–3 staff per site, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
This role focuses on assisting with the maintenance of high-end domestic gardens in West London, helping to ensure consistently high horticultural standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with garden maintenance across high-end residential sites
- Support the use of garden machinery including mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters
- Help maintain planting beds and borders to a high standard
- Undertake weeding, mulching, planting, and basic pruning
- Assist in monitoring plant health and overall garden presentation
- Support senior team members on-site
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required:
- Some practical experience in horticulture or garden maintenance
- Basic plant knowledge and a willingness to learn and develop
- Interest in garden maintenance and high-end horticulture
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from senior staff
- Good work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- High attention to detail and pride in work
