Nursery Manager required

Based in East Anglia, our client is a leading UK Amenity Nursery, providing a comprehensive service growing, supplying and designing for the landscape industry nationwide.  As part of the company’s development, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced Nursery Manager to plan the expansion of the production to a purpose-built new site.

This is a very exciting remit, encompassing the planning and development of a new production site.

The Nursery Manager will be responsible for the following, working with and reporting directly to the Directors;

-Site development, planning and maintenance

-Management and development of all existing and future production processes

-Stock Control


-Quality systems

-Plant Health

-Integrated crop management system

-Environmental management system

-Recruitment, nurturing, training and managing production personnel and staffing levels

-Site equipment and machinery

-Working with Directors to develop and work to budgets and targets

-Site equipment and machinery

-Health and Safety

-Computerised record keeping and reporting

-Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation

This is a Senior Management position with future prospects.
