An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gardener/Maintenance Operative to join a well-respected award-winning company who handle a variety of maintenance contracts nationwide. The company has been responsible for numerous very high-profile projects throughout the city for many years and are currently expanding their maintenance arm, leading to an increasing number of high-profile contracts. They are now seeking an experienced Gardener, to join a small team operating out of Tonbridge, Kent. The role will cover a variety of location between Tonbridge and Central London. In addition to a competitive salary, the client will generously pay for the travel expenses of the successful candidate or be picked up by a WLL vehicle, to be agreed.
Main Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking an individual who is hard working, knowledgeable, willing to learn and have good time keeping. Candidates will have the ability to work as part of a team or individually under their own initiative.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintenance Gardening
- Lawn Maintenance
- Pruning
- Weeding
- Watering
- Planting
- Mulching
- Ad hoc planting as required.
- An understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
Key Skills:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, having the ability to work under their own initiative while taking pride in their work and completing tasks to a high standard throughout all tasks on the large site. An understanding of Health and Safety regulations is essential. A PA1/PA6 spraying certificate and full driving license would be desirable, however no essential.
