This is done through four core areas of the business – Grounds Maintenance, Instant Tree and Hedges, Automatic Irrigation and Landscape build and plant. Working with designers, architects, builders and private clients, their planting and landscaping teams always offer a bespoke, reliable, and skilled service. This dedicated approach has led them to creating some of the most outstanding outdoor spaces in the country. They love what they do, and they do it well, with a proven track record of very happy existing clients to prove it. They achieve this by employing passionate and productive people and investing in the latest tools and machinery. They are now looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Soft Landscaper to join the team and assist in the companies ever growing success.

Job Description:

The service has grown over the years through building working relationships with new and existing clients and companies alike. Through these relationships come recommendations from delighted clients, and they take great pride in enhancing the beauty and function of their outdoor spaces. Using exceptional quality, utmost integrity, close relationships, and proven expertise. Their teams offer full landscaping packages, from handling the largest trees available, to planning and planting delicate herbaceous borders. Building bespoke water features or completing York stone paving to perfection. The landscaping team will deliver above and beyond expectations, handling the entire project from start to finish and beyond with their maintenance teams.

Main Responsibilities Include:

As a Landscaper, you will be part of the creation of outstanding living spaces while working as part of an exceptional team of experienced and passionate horticulturalists, designers, and foreman. The team is dedicated to constantly enhancing the company reputation, brand, and customer satisfaction through exceptionally high standards of work. Yor duties will include:

  • Be fully capable of working from design plans
  • Maintain the very highest quality of work to industry standards
  • Have the ability to solve and work around unforeseen issues during the build
  • Be able to complete landscaping projects within the allotted time
  • Planting of shrubs, trees and plants
  • To be able to take instructions from senior staff respectfully, if given
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and always wear the provided personal protective equipment

Candidate Skills

The successful candidate will be a people person, well-mannered and presentable, a full and clean UK driving licence and hard working. This is also a route for someone who is ambitious to join a progressive company and develop into a role with more responsibility.

The ideal candidate will hold:

  • A full UK driving licence (required).
  • Excellent horticultural knowledge, with good plant identification (desired)
  • Proven previous experience (at least 3 years) working in a similar role
  • Experience or qualifications to operate landscape machinery. Such as, Mini excavators, Avant loaders and tele handlers. (Desired, but further training will be provided)
  • Experience, or a keen interest, in working with automatic irrigation systems
  • The ability to work on their own initiative both in a team and alone with good time management skills.
  • Punctual, dependable and a willingness to go the extra mile in delivering a service to the company’s clients
  • Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background (i.e. clients, contractors, designers)

The Landscape team are required to travel to each client’s home or landscape space on a daily basis. This could involve numerous journeys each day or to be located at a fixed site for a period of time.

The role will be working Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm with unlimited overtime available
