With a reputation for delivering high-quality work, they continue to expand and are now looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Soft Landscape Foreman to support delivery across key commercial projects.
Job Description:
This is an important leadership role where you’ll shape how our teams deliver outstanding results on soft landscape schemes. You’ll lead from the front supporting your team, ensuring work is completed safely and to the highest standard, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project partners. You’ll work closely with senior management and, depending on project scale, the role will evolve into a Soft Landscape Project Manager function overseeing multiple sites, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve exceptional standards on-site.
- Manage soft landscaping projects from start to finish.
- Confidently read and interpret drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure accurate delivery.
- Attend client meetings, liaising with site managers, architects, and contractors to maintain positive working relationships.
- Oversee site health and safety compliance, always ensuring best practice.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, including ordering materials and monitoring costs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
Key skills:
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a senior landscaping role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of cost control.
- Ability to interpret site plans and coordinate multi-trade teams.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- DBS check will be required.
