Our client is an established company operating from West London specialising in the design and construction of bespoke residential gardens. They have won a number of industry awards for their work and unique designs which often incorporate specialist materials and features requiring the highest standard of workmanship. They currently have a vacancy for a Hard Landscape Foreman to take responsibility for one of their site teams.
Job Description:
Expansion of the company requires the strengthening of the delivery teams on site with the appointment of a Hard Landscape Foreman for projects predominantly in and around London. Your role will be to create and maintain a positive and pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication, and safety. The person appointed will be responsible for supervising a small team of landscapers working on individual projects. Your duties will include:
- Assisting the Project Manager in the planning and organisation of projects
- Ordering of materials and equipment.
- Setting out the works from design drawings.
- Delegating duties within the team.
- Ensuring work is completed on time, and to a high standard of finish.
- Liaising with the client and design team to resolve any problems.
- Ensure that site operations are carried out in accordance with the company’s health and safety policy.
- Maintain site records.
Key Skills:
Candidates must have excellent practical skills in all areas of hard landscaping, with a good eye for detail and strong leadership skills, able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering high quality workmanship which is completed on time and within agreed budgets. It is also important that you have good communication skills, combined with a pro-active and flexible approach to your duties.
A full clean drivers licence is essential for this role
