Role Overview:
We are recruiting for a Senior Horticulturist – West London, working with an award-winning garden design, build, and maintenance company specialising in high-end residential landscapes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced horticulturist to work on prestigious private gardens, maintaining exceptional standards and contributing to beautifully designed outdoor spaces.
The successful candidate will work within a small, skilled team, typically 2–3 staff per site, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
This role focuses on the maintenance of high-end domestic gardens in West London, ensuring consistently high horticultural standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out garden maintenance across high-end residential sites
- Operate garden machinery including mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters
- Maintain planting beds and borders to a high standard
- Undertake weeding, mulching, planting, and pruning
- Monitor plant health and garden presentation
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an experienced Gardener role
- Strong practical skills in garden maintenance and plant care
- Experience using a range of garden machinery and tools
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confidence to take responsibility and support junior staff when required
- High attention to detail and pride in work
