Our client is a recently established soft landscaping and maintenance company based in South West London. As a company they have grown significantly throughout their trading period, emphasising networking and marketing during this process, which has led to strong relationships being established with partner and suppliers. They are now seeking a Horticulturist to join the small, but growing team in order to assist in soft landscaping and maintenance of the company’s growing clientele. This clientele consists of a variety of high-end properties, varying in size across London and surrounding areas, in turn requiring a good eye for both detail and high standards in all aspects of their work.
Applicants for this position must have some basic horticultural experience and knowledge, with a relevant qualification being advantageous but not essential, alongside the ability to use a range of power tools and associated garden machinery where required. They must also have a professional, approachable, and respectful mannerism when interacting with both colleagues and clients, being particularly self-aware in high profile environments.
The successful candidate will be an individual who demonstrates drive and an eagerness to develop both their horticultural skills and their career through continual progression through the rapidly growing company. An eager, proactive attitude is required in order to maximise the successful candidate’s impact, with end of year bonuses and other commissions schemes on offer to support this.
The working hours per week are 40, and applicants must be in a suitable location to commute to the Wimbledon area to start the day. A willingness to work overtime where required is desired, with all overtime being in a paid capacity.
