Landscape Team Leader – Vacancy
Kennet Landscapes are an established commercial landscaping company, seeking experienced Landscape Team Leader responsible for the successful delivery of our landscaping projects. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership and organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team carrying out daily site activities
Organise daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to programme
Sign off daily works and return all required paperwork to the Line Manager
Carry out ground preparation works
Plant shrubs and trees in accordance with site drawings and planting plans
Lay turf and create seedbeds and wildflower areas
Accurately read and work from site plans and drawings
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and specification
Take ownership of individual projects on a day-to-day basis
Support, guide, and take responsibility for team members on site
Ensure all health & safety policies and procedures are followed at all times
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in the landscaping and/or construction industry
Strong plant knowledge
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute work efficiently
Confident leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
Requirements
Ideally 3+ years’ relevant experience
Full driving licence (essential)
Valid CSCS card (essential)
Salary: Circa £37,000 dependant on experience, company van provided for commuting
