Lightwater Plants are looking for a Gardener (Maintenance and Soft Landscaping) to join our growing team. Applicants for this position must have previous experience and good horticultural and plant knowledge. Ability to use various tools and machinery a plus, but not essential. Our diverse range of clients are situated throughout London, and include shops, high-end residential gardens, offices, co-working spaces, restaurants, markets, and private members clubs. The role will be primarily based in Central London, and 4 days a month at one of our client’s sites in Brighton.

The Job:

  • Watering and maintaining plants, this includes pruning, feeding, re-potting, and treating for pests and diseases
  • Installing (planting) new plant displays, both exterior and interior
  • Liaising with clients on-site to discuss any queries or issues
  • Reporting on the condition of plant displays to Head Office
  • Working with the team and individually
  • Scheduling your time to efficiently complete tasks

The Requirements:

  • A clean UK driving licence
  • Experience of driving in London
  • Able to start at 6/7am
  • A smartphone
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional and approachable manner with colleagues and clients

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Additional pay:

  • Bonus scheme
  • Yearly bonus

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Usual working day 7am – 3pm
