Our client is a well-established specialist interior landscaping company delivering professional plant maintenance services to prestigious commercial environments across the UK. With a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and horticultural expertise, they manage large-scale interior planting installations within high-profile corporate settings. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are seeking two Interior Plant Technicians to join their team at a flagship West London site.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking experienced, professional, and proactive Interior Plant Technicians to support the ongoing maintenance and care of a large interior planting scheme within a prestigious corporate campus.
This is a predominantly static-site role, offering the opportunity to work within a high-quality environment rather than travelling between multiple customer locations. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining thousands of interior plants to an exceptional standard, ensuring displays remain healthy, attractive, and professionally presented throughout the year.
Working closely with an established team of interior plant technicians, gardeners, and supervisors, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class interior landscaping service while contributing to the overall appearance and wellbeing of the workplace environment.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in interior plant maintenance, interior landscaping, horticulture, hydroponics, or commercial plant care.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Plant Maintenance & Horticultural Duties
- Carry out routine maintenance of interior planting displays across a large commercial site.
- Water, feed, prune, groom, clean, and maintain plants to ensure optimum health and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain hydroponic planting systems, ensuring they operate effectively.
- Identify, diagnose, and address plant health issues, including pests, diseases, and environmental stress factors.
- Replace, rotate, and refresh planting displays where required.
- Ensure all planting areas consistently meet the high standards expected by the client.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and site teams to deliver an efficient and professional service.
- Maintain accurate records of plant maintenance activities and report any issues requiring attention.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are maintained, stored, and used appropriately.
- Follow all site-specific health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and company policies.
- Represent the business professionally at all times within a client-facing environment.
- Support occasional work at nearby locations if required.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Previous experience as an Interior Plant Technician, Interior Landscaper, Plant Maintenance Technician, or similar horticultural role.
- Strong knowledge of interior plant care and maintenance techniques.
- Experience working with hydroponic systems or a willingness to develop this knowledge.
- Ability to identify common plant health issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Professional and reliable approach to work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience working within large commercial or corporate environments.
- Relevant horticultural qualifications or industry training.
- Knowledge of interior landscaping installation and maintenance practices.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday
Flexible working hours with an 8-hour working day.
Early starts are available for those who prefer to finish earlier in the afternoon, with flexibility around start and finish times.
