Our client is a well-established landscape company providing a number of highly specialist landscape services to their clients. They are leaders within their specialist field of operation and have built up a strong and expanding business that carries out work for commercial clients throughout the UK. They currently have a key vacancy for a Green Roof Installer to become part of the company’s installation team.
Job Description:
The Green Roof Installer for the Southwest region. The key thing with this role is the travel – largely based in the southwest but the potential to be travelling throughout the UK on occasion (an average of 2nights per week overall). As below we supply accommodation and breakfast and dinner, but travelling is usually within the workday unless agreed otherwise. Everything listed under key requirements is essential except for soft landscaping/horticultural skills.
Ideally, our client is seeking someone just starting out in horticulture or construction that wants to grow within the company. Fresh out of agricultural college would be ideal. Our client actively promotes the right people from within and pay exceptionally well for our industry. They will be responsible to a South West Supervisor and Regional Contract Manager.
Key Requirements:
Candidates should have some experience as a Gardener, Groundsman or a Trade college graduate, ideally working within the horticultural industry. Candidates must be a good team player, and most importantly be driven and motivated.

-IT literate; Outlook, Word and Excel spreadsheets
-Irrigation knowledge

They are leaders within their specialist field of operation and have built up a strong and expanding business which carries out work for commercial clients throughout the UK. They currently have a key vacancy for a Site Supervisor to become part of the company’s installation team.
Job Description:
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for being a working supervisor for the green roof installations department with responsibility to a Regional Contracts Manager. You will need to be able to lead a team, complete relevant QHSE checks as required, schedule and delegate tasks and liaise confidently with the client.
The Site Supervisor would be a working supervisor and would be expected to assist on the install as well as lead it. You could be involved with several projects at once, so should be flexible and capable of multi-tasking.
There will also be a need for the site supervisor to work away from their region and stay overnight regularly. Overnight stays include hotel accommodation with breakfast and dinner paid for.

-Motivating the workforce
-Problem solving
Key Requirements:
Candidates should have several years’ experience at Site Supervisor or Manager level or as Landscape Team Leader ideally working within the landscape construction industry. He/she needs an excellent knowledge of both the commercial aspects of running a successful project. You must be able to plan the use of your time effectively, be a good team player, and most importantly be driven and motivated.
