Gardener - Live Out - B900 - This position has been filled

A great opportunity has arisen for a gardener to work for an established company in the Reading area, Berkshire.  The company is celebrating 25 years in business and offers a range of services, primarily to domestic clients.

The ideal candidate will hold a good level of gardening experience, have good plant knowledge, experience with a range of grounds maintenance equipment and will be used to working with common garden plants and features.  The role will primarily involve acting as a mobile gardener, working under and alongside the existing small team of like minded employees.  A full UK driving licence is essential.

You must be conscientious, well presented, able to work under your own initiative and have a positive attitude when it comes to working with your colleagues, and of course for the company’s loyal client base.  A good sense of humour is always important.

You must have experience with hedge cutting, lawn maintenance, pruning, planting, bed/border maintenance, and be willing to undertake other gardening maintenance tasks as they arise.  A spray certificate (PA1/PA6) is beneficial.

The standard working week will consist of 44 hours with any overtime paid at time and a half.  An hourly rate is offered which will rise after successful completion of a three-month probationary period, equating to an approximate annual salary as stated below (dependent on experience).
