Nursery Despatch Supervisor - N315

Are you looking for an opportunity as a Nursery Dispatch Supervisor to work with an established family business?
Are you a self-motivated individual who can work to tight deadlines?
Are you a positive person with good plant knowledge?

The overall aim of this role is to control and co-ordinate the total despatch process from daily picking organisation to loading lorries and liaising with the sales department.

Key points:

•Pick and collate orders as required from a Picking List, making sure that all plants are adequately watered and in good condition before packing
•Load orders onto vehicles for despatch
•Assist with goods inwards and unloading vehicles
•Supervise despatch staff in the picking and loading of orders

Must haves:

•Strong plant knowledge
•Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
•Ability to manage workload in a sometimes demanding environment
•Counterbalance Forklift Licence an advantage

This is a physical role working outside in all weathers.
