Garden Centre Manager required

Our client is a family run business which has grown from strength to strength now operating with a sales turnover of £2.5 million. The centre is renowned for not only supplying a diverse range of gardening and leisure products but also providing a fantastic range of top-quality plants. They are currently seeking a Garden Centre Manager who will work closely with the owners holding a good level of autonomy for all daily operations, providing an exceptional level of customer sales and service.
-Duties and responsibilities would include the following:
-To work with the owners purchasing of stock and dealing with suppliers
-To ensure the garden centre operates profitably and efficiently
-To provide the best possible experience, quality and service for the customers
-Supervising the team through daily duties and responsibilities
-To ensure high standards of commerciality, merchandising and replenishment are adhered to
-To help develop new ideas and suggestions to grow sales and profits
-To further develop a strong team who are engaged and passionate in all they do.
The appointed person will have previous garden centre management experience with excellent customer service skills capable of implementing the highest levels of service and with a good understanding of KPI’s. If you have motivation, passion with excellent communication skills and enjoys holding a good level of autonomy this is the role for you!
