Stallion Gardens was set up in 2010 by Matthew Stallion.
Having studied Commercial Horticulture (everything about growing) at Writtle Agricultural College, then later Garden Design at Capel Manor College and more recently at The English Gardening School at The Chelsea Physic Garden – Garden Design Diploma.
With a great passion for soft landscaping we have built a strong client base in Wandsworth and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a person who has recently left college and/or wants a start in horticulture. All ages considered. Full-time or Part-time.
Some previous experience in Gardening and the Horticultural Industry would be beneficial but not essential.
Would suit a physically fit person.
You would be working with an experienced plantsman, soft landscaper and team.
Responsibilities would include:
- Hedge Trimming.
- Lawn Maintenance.
- Garden clearance and seasonal work.
- Planting.
- Fence installation.
- Specialised pruning, trimming and training of plants.
- Proficiency in the safe operation of machinery subject to training.
Other qualities required:
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Happy to take direction and follow instruction.
- Has a can-do attitude.
- Good time management skills.
- Willingness to increase in knowledge and skills in the industry.
- Driver preferred but again not essential.

Salary – In the region of – £24,000
