Are you an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader? Are you based in Hertfordshire? Would you like to work for an established company who specialise in providing grounds maintenance and gardening services to both high-end commercial and residential clients?

Key points

The ideal candidate will already hold a similar supervisory position or be able to demonstrate a readiness and aptitude to move into a supervisory role and be comfortable driving company vehicles.

The successful applicant will be knowledgeable, experienced in horticulture, proactive, customer-focused, reliable and committed to ensuring their team continues to deliver the high standards that clients expect. Our client is looking for a Team Leader who can run long term grounds maintenance contracts across a number of sites. This position offers a range of benefits, as well as training, development and career progression opportunities.

Required Skills

•Full clean UK driving licence (essential)

•Good solid plant knowledge (essential)

•A formal horticultural qualification to minimum of Level 3 Certificate/Diploma (essential)

•3 To 5 years’ experience in Horticulture (essential)

•Hold a PA1 & PA6 licence (desirable)

•Trailer licence (desirable)

•First Aid at Work certificate (desirable)

•Experience of conducting appraisals (desirable)
