A rare opportunity for an experienced gardener to join the gardening team at Englefield House. The gardens comprise a nine acre formal garden surrounded by extensive woodland gardens. There is also a walled kitchen garden producing a range of vegetables, fruit and flowers.
The successful candidate will support our gardens team in maintaining the gardens and grounds to a high standard. You will be a flexible, hands-on gardener and good team worker with broad horticultural knowledge. Key duties will include the planting and maintenance of shrubs, herbaceous plants, ground cover, trees and annual bedding, kitchen garden tasks, hedge clipping, pruning, mowing and strimming. You may also work with volunteers, work experience students and help out during Englefield Estate’s annual Schools Days.
