A new opportunity has become available for a National Accounts Manager to join an established company specialising in green roof and living wall design and supply. The new Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the existing client base whilst identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies to capitalise on them.
The successful candidate will effectively manage and develop strong relationships with existing clients, managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. The National Account Manager will source new clients actively developing sales strategies, ensuring such strategies are followed up effectively, all sales activity and customer interactions are recorded on the company CRM system, therefore experience with such software would be advantageous. The role will require the postholder to attend industry events to promote the company, but also to network and stay up to date with current industry trends. The successful candidate will meet and ideally exceed sales targets and KPI’s helping the company to grow by increasing sales and promoting their innovative green solutions.
The company has been a market leader in the delivery of innovative green systems for over a decade. The company has a global coverage, with their Head Office based in the Netherlands. This role will focus on UK sales and the successful candidate will work remotely for a large portion of the working week, actively visiting existing and potential clients. There will be a requirement to attend meetings at the company’s Bristol office once a week, with additional visits to the Head office in Holland approximately 4 times each year.
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field.
- At least 5 years management experience in account management, sales or marketing in the B2B sector.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and the Netherlands.
A passion for sustainability and environmental conservation along with an understanding of the landscaping / horticultural sector would be desirable but not essential. A commercial landscaping company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager that will be required to work to a 5-year business plan, the successful applicant will be well-organised, an excellent communicator and a clear ability to deliver KPIs including significant contract wins over £500k a year. The main purpose of the role will be to secure new business from key national clients as well as developing current customers and high-profile contracts, implementing plans to lock these in for the long-term with significant financial growth, working closely with the bid writing team.
